Located opposite of Gate Pa shopping centre, it is just 1-minute walk from Rainbow Motel to a numbers of cafes, bars, restaurants, retails, and supermarket.

Each standard motel room offers a 40″ flat-screen TV, ironing equipment and free private parking. All motel rooms have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee making facilities and refrigerator. Each motel room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries.

Our Private Rooms are located upstairs in the main building. They are fairly simple yet tidy and comfortable. It has a small fan heater inside for cold days along with a 32 inch Freeview TV to lay back and relax. Towels will be provided for each person and the toilet and kitchen are shared.

All guests can enjoy a BBQ in the outdoor dining area. A washing machine and dryer are provided in the guest laundry.

Rainbow Motel is a 2-minute walk from Gate Pa Bowling club and Tennis club, a 6-minute drive from the Strand waterfront area and the city centre; a 3-minute drive from Tauranga Racing and Golf club; a 15-minute drive from Mount Maunganui and Airport; a 15-minute drive from McLaren Falls and a 25-minute drive from Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park.
